Wireless Mic inside Your Tooth

If that stylish Plantronics headset didn’t suit your geeky needs, you might want to explore the subatomic possibilities. Well, it’s not quite subatomic, but it sure is small, like the size of a tooth. After all, it’s the Bluetooth technology we’re talking about. While it won’t make any of your teeth blue, know that there’s a tiny mic somewhere in the Asian world, which can be placed inside of a tooth.

The mic is actually a durable composite resin filling and is designed to fit in a hole 2.2mm in diameter and 1.7 mm deep. It will pick up sound and vibrations from your mouth to produce incredibly clear sound. However, you are still required to wear something in your ear so you can hear the person you are trying to reach.

Chinavasion, the manufacturer, has a weird sense of humor, reminding us that we aren’t supposed to drill holes in our teeth the DIY fashion. "All dental work should be performed by a qualified dentist, Chinavasion does not take responsibility for injury resulting from the installation of this product." Why not squeeze an entire cellpone with MP3 player capabilities and radio function in one of those fillings, so we can concentrate on handling other stuff?
