UltraHD, the latest Flip digital camcorder

HD camcorders can be purchased by anyone who is interested in such device with less than $100. Or at least this is what the market shows us in the past couple of months. And with this kind of money you can own a pretty good camcorder, so that you know. Or at least one to satisfy your photographer-wannabe needs.

This is why a connoisseur could always consider a $200 camcorder to be quite expensive for someone who doesn’t need a feature-rich device. Compared to the cheap ones, which come with H.264 compression that enables 720p HD video shooting, with a 2 inch LCD screen or AA alkaline or rechargeable batteries, the new UltraHD designed by Flip has an internal memory of 8GB, which is precisely what you need in order to store approximately two hours of footage.

There are many people who’d rather have a camcorder that is equipped with an SD card, because it’s more flexible when it comes to the connection between the camera and the PC, but for those who always forget about their things it’s probably for the best.

This is somehow the successor of another Flip digital camcorder, the MinoHD, which was in the past couple of months the device that sold best, so chances are high for this one to follow its footsteps. Therefore, we’re looking forward to see how this new camcorder will behave in the market. We’re watching it closely!
