The Thanko MP4 watch doubles as a video camera

If you’re the type of guy who loves catching people in compromising situations and making fun of them whenever they are put face to face with embarrassing events, then the Thanko MP4 watch is the right thing for you. The company announced a brand new device – just in time for the Christmas time – that seems to have appeared from a James Bond movie or something like this.
The watch is equipped with a 1.8 inches color LCD screen, with a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels that shows you the time and the date, but it can also be used as a small video screen that helps the user see the funny videos he has recorded. The Thanko device can shoot video at a resolution of 352 x 288, while the resolution for photos is better, of 640 x 480 pixels. In addition, the watch is also provided with a voice recording feature.
The Thanko MP4 watch is compatible with all sorts of digital formats, such as MP3, WPA, WMA and it also supports JPG files. The multimedia files can be stored on the watch, as it features an internal memory of 4 GB that cannot be expanded. Come on guys, what’s with these pretensions? We’re talking about a watch, here!
On the other hand, the timepiece is equipped with a mini-USB port that enables data transfer, while the small camera that was especially designed to make the best spy ever is placed somewhere on the side of the watch face.
I, for one, have never been mad about this type of devices that can distinguish themselves by focusing on one function and one function only, but they need to incorporate two or more different devices in order to stand a chance of competing with similar ones. So, if you want to make your boyfriend happy, as he thinks he’s the impersonation of his favorite cartoon character, the inspector Gadget, then you must be willing to spend approximately $163 (or 14,800 yen) on this Thanko MP4 watch. And who knows, he might say “thanks†for the first time in his life.
