Shine Watch Concept

Whatever I do, when searching for cool gadgets, I keep encountering more and more watch concepts that makes me think people got really obsessed with time and cramming things into wristwatches. Most of the time I see cellphones and media players squeezed into timepieces which could have been way slimmer and lighter. How would you like to carry 60 oz on your wrist daily?

Vlad Icobet presents a rather interesting watch concept (no hybrid this time, thank goodness), which is great to play around with as long as you are only limited by your imagination and not technology like the real world. The Shine concept watch is a synergistic device that combines luxury and advanced technology, featuring a unique laser projection system that enables you to see the time displayed simply by touching its logo.

Shine is built from hi-tech white ceramic and integrates one too many glittering stones – 200 square cut white topaz gemstones to be more exact. This watch is screaming “bling, bling” from miles away, and if it ever hits markets, it’ll definitely adorn the wrist of attention seekers all over the world. Lasers… checked, i-Podish ceramics… checked, blingies…. checked. Hmmm, something’s amiss around here. What, no integrated cellphone?
