Although Blu-rays are starting to become more and more popular, that doesn’t mean DVDs are outdated. They might not go with the HDTV in your living room, but you can some DVDs in a trip along with a portable DVD player. Like this one right here.

The Round Portable DVD Player looks like an MP3 player. It comes with a 3.5″ TFT screen embedded directly on the case and it can play audio/video Mp3 and Mp4 files directly without a TV monitor. You just have to insert your CD, DVD or SD/MMC card or USB storage device in it. In case the embedded LCD screen doesn’t satisfy your needs, you can connect this player to a TV monitor for large view.

The form factor is quite interesting. I think this could be the smallest DVD player out there with an embedded screen. However, at a price of $109.99, it doesn’t come cheap like that Chinese things that sell for $15. Supposedly this player has a good LCD screen, though I can’t find info regarding the supported resolution.
