Q1, BlueAnt Bluetooth Headset unveiled at CES 2009
The Consumer Electronics Show is the latest trend these days and what people is talking about continuously. The 2009 edition was highly anticipated, as companies take advantage of the popularity of this event and reveal the results of their work at Las Vegas, Nevada.
Following the footsteps of other famous manufacturers, BlueAnt decided to launch their Bluetooth headset at this year’s CES edition, the BlueAnt Q1, which is said to become available in a couple of months, sometime in the second quarter of 2009. Even if the product is not to hit the market in the following days or even weeks, the company didn’t prove to be chary of words. On the contrary, essential information about the price and the list of features went publicly.

Therefore, the specs of the new BlueAnt Bluetooth headset include: a patent-pending acoustic design which is meant to reduce wind and road noise as far as to eliminate it, a dual microphone which has the role to reduce the wind noise to cancel the echo, a digital signal processing software, automatic pairing and reconnection, automatic volume control, dynamic receive signal frequency equalization, a packet loss concealment and multipoint technology. The latter is designed to connect two different phones simultaneously.
The BlueAnt Bluetooth headset provides up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 120 hours of stand-by time, but you must be aware of the fact that these are the maximum ideal numbers, which, in reality, can be quite different.
The features of the Q1 are not only pretty impressive, but also useful, and they come in a package that is said to be sold at an affordable price of approximately $129.95. Every device will come with a replacement warranty of 2 years.
