Using a Bluetooth headset with your cellphone can create some funny situations. I’ve seen one too many people walking on the street and apparently talking to some imaginary friend or cursing themselves. That’s because most of the times it’s difficult to see the headseat, but that’s the basic idea, right? No need for the others to see it, it’s discrete. Sometimes, however, you really want to show off your digital equipment and for those of you who want to make an impression, check out the new product from Plantronics.

Discovery 925 is an earpiece which breaks away from the utilitarian design of most Bluetooth ear pieces and infuse some style into the hardware. The Discovery 925 sticks to your ear without a loop that wraps around the back and is also comes with a matching carrying case that doubles as a DC charging doc. Wonder how it really sticks to your ear.

As you can see Discovery 925 integrates a longer design, which allows for a more powerful antenna,as well as an extended microphone that picks up sound more clearly. Plantronics is known for its quality headphones, so they couldn’t stay away from DSP technologies. Thus, they included noise cancellation and voice clarification within their new headseat. Battery life is now extended to around 5 hours and the carrying case holds an extra 5 hour charge.

The Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth headset is supposed to come in pink, gold and black flavors, and will be selling for $150 starting this month.
