I admit I’ve been ignoring the music-related gadgets for the last couple of months. Well, there weren’t many innovations anyway, but now I’m ready to make it up to you with some DJ gear from Numark.
Maybe you haven’t heard of Numark, but a look at these two new products will tell you we’re talking about serious gear, not just some DJ mixers. With the HDMIX and ARC 3 devices, Numark has finally made the jump to digital-only products.

According to Slashgear, HDMIX is a complete DJ system in a single box, and all you need to get the party started is a set of powerful speakers. You can mix music from various sources, including the onboard DVD drive which is compatible with MP3 CDs and DVDs and an internal hard-drive which comes in a stylish removable rack. Additionally, you can hook up your favorite USB multimedia player or external storage device. HDMIX allows you to quickly rip CDs directly to the hard-drive, and all the functions can be accessed via a full-color display and included USB keyboard.

The ARC 3 is way smaller, making for a portable DJ-CD station, and comes with a single 5-inch scratch wheel, analog and digital outputs and a CD drive compatible with MP3 CDs only. There is a limited set of options among which you can find the twin loop banks and a controllable pitch connected to the onboard fader.

The HDMIX and the ARC3 are already available for $1499.00 and $300, respectively.
