Newman M8000

So you got yourself a 32 GB iPod. Pretty good, I’d say, but with the money spent on the iPod you could’ve bought something way better. Sure, iPod fanboys won’t agree with me, but I tell you the Newman M8000 is better in any respect, even if you somehow managed to buy the 160 GB iPod.

Although it looks pretty decent and sort of bulky at first glance, the M8000 PMP is certainly not your average player as it manages to enclose a 250GB HDD. That means you have nearly 8 times the capacity of an iPod ready to store music, vids and pictures, plus you can use it to carry just about anything from one PC to another. If you happen to be on a tight budget, there are always different capacities to choose from such as the 80GB, 120GB, and 160GB models. It looks like one could actually buy a cheaper 80 GB version and then replace it’s HDD with a bigger one.
Here are some other outstanding features coming with the Newman M8000:
• 4" TFT display at 320 x 240 resolution
• TV out
• Supports MP3, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 formats
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• SD memory card slot
• Game emulation
• PVR functionality
The 80 GB version is supposed to retail for $299, but the bigger HDD version don’t actually have an official price as of yet.
