Multimedia Coffee Table
Not that we’d immediately buy a Microsoft TouchTable, but multimedia table designs are emerging by the day in the last period of time. One of the more recent designs is an interesting Coffee Table from Retro-Tech.

It’s got all the features of a usual table, plus it comes with some digital power-ups. With it, you can now use the PC from the comfort of your own sofa as the retro-styled digital coffee table features a 19-inch wide angle LCD touchscreen, integrated Blu Ray-DVD, HDTV Connection, Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, not to mention protective 6mm toughened top glass. I reckon they ought to reinforce it even more so, because a lot of nasty things happen around a coffee table. You don’t really want to spill coffee on that cool LCD or scratch the display.
One thing they can provide is some more colors for the table. Black doesn’t quite fit it as it should. When they say touchscreen, are they referring to the new DuoSense technology? If so, it would be cool to have this in the living room so people can gather around and play all sorts of interactive games. Pricewise, I hope Retro-Tech will seriously consider a sub-$1k tag and not give in to the MS way.
