MedUAV Aircraft
It’s clear that armies all over the world fund all sorts of outstanding projects and we, as civilians, only hear about a few of them. Take for example Israel's Fisher Institute for Air and Space Strategic Studies. I’m sure they have many other projects rolling, but only a few of them have been presented to the publi., Among these few is a project that attempts to put together the world's first unpiloted battlefield resupply and evacuation aircraft, dubbed "MedUAV."

The above concept drawing leads us to believe that the MedUAV could use some VTOL air car technology. This would result into a landing-to-evacuation time as short as 45 seconds, which is clearly benefitting battlefield casualties needing attention. In this sense, the vehicle would also protect medics, who'd otherwise risk coming under fire when attending the conventional way. The patient pod may even include sensors and communication systems so that doctors could interact with the patient mid-flight.
The Fisher institute claims that it is ready to conduct the initial test-flights in just 24 months, though the first model may turn out to be a simple UAV. A single vehicle would have a 4-person payload and fly up to 10,000 feet at 150 knots.

As long as human beings kill each other to resolve differences, we will feel the need to repair the damages we may have caused, and usually immediately after we cause them. It is human nature Kill! Kill! Kill!
