Magic Tricycle
Looks like somebody was trying really hard to reinvent the wheel, and came up with a curious motorcycle concept that can switch from three-wheel driving to two-wheel driving in no time.
While on the highway, there’s enough room to drive this vehicle in three-wheel mode. According to DVice, when you feel that things are getting a bit tighter, you go ahead and push a button and the whole thing turns on one side, lifting the third wheel in the air, which sprouts blades that keep the chassis stable, just like in a helicopter tail. The seats in the cabin also reorient automatically, so you won’t have to worry about those drinks and food.
Responsible for the peculiar vehicle is a student who goes by the name of Seyyed Javad Ghaffarian. He came up with the idea especially for the Car Design News' 2008 design contest. The designer named it the Magic Tricycle, Yep, looks magic alright. Engineers could really get a headache from this vehicle’s
blueprints. Then comes the problem of its usefulness. It looks like it’s occupying more space than a regular car. I wonder if the designer thought of including a transformer robot in there. Now that would be pretty useful.
