LEGO branded products

You’re a gadget addict so I’m not sure why you feel so depressed and nervous when you say that your kid is actually… the same. Like father, like son, so that you know. More than that, kids tend to manifest a special attraction as far as the gadgets are concerned and they seem to love them as much as they love their toys, if not more.

This is the reason why Digital Blue and LEGO have just announced their collaboration that is meant to bring on the market LEGO branded products aimed at your little ones. This line of products is expected to become available starting this summer and it is said to consist of electronic like digital cameras, video cameras, MP3 players, walkie talkies and so on.

If you look carefully at these products you will surely have the impression that they are all made of LEGO bricks. But this is only an impression, as they are not built of bricks, at least not ones that are to be coming apart. This is pretty impressive, isn’t it, even if you might be a little bit disappointed when trying to break this camera up.

But if you think things over, you’ll realize that this is the best decision ever, as your kid will most probably want to do the same and it isn’t the best thing to happen to your digital camera or MP3 player. This means you won’t have to “recompose” your gadget every time your kid feels like tearing it apart.

What people won’t understand is why someone would think of selling products made of LEGO bricks that can be disassembled. This is unusual, awkward or whatever you’d like to call it. In addition to the small portable LEGO branded devices especially designed for kids, Digital Blue will also create a home line of electronics consisting of boom boxes and alarm clock radios.

The products will be available starting the summer of this year, retailing for a price that varies from $19.99 to $59.99.
