Honlai MP100
It looks like the display manufacturers will have a bit of a problem when it comes to building Super Hi-Vision HDTVS and monitors. JVC has recently introduced small chips capable of handling 8192×4320 resolutions, specifically designed for the future projectors. I think, I’m not the only one to point out that large displays will slowly be replaced by digital projectors. OK, these projectors might be a bit oversized when released, but miniaturization is imminent and will certainly occur for projectors as well. Talking about miniaturization, here’s the latest mini projector design coming from Honlai Technology.

The MP100 LED mini projector coming from Honlai Technology is small and portable. I don’t know what the Asian designers were thinking when they came up with this. It’s super sleek and this projector right here reminds me of some alien-like technologies I’ve seen in movies and TV series. You can’t really see this in the picture, but, according to Honlai, the device fits comfortably into any palm, making it a snap to carry around. MP100 integrates the LCOS micro projection technology, capable of throwing an image between 5" to 37" wide. Although the projected image size sounds good, the resolution might not be HD at all. If PowerPoint presentations are your favorite way to emphasize your plans at the office, then this little wonder might become your best friend. No info on price on availability for now.
