One of the main problems for disable people is the transition from their bed to their wheelchair and Panasonic comes with a new device that can help people who have this problem. The name of this gadget for disable people is Robotic Bad-Wheelchair and it is a bed which transforms in a wheelchair that can be easily accessible for those who cannot walk.

The process works both ways, meaning that the bed transform itself into a wheelchair and the wheelchair can transform back into the bed. This is a concept gadget, but we hope it will be released on the market, because there are many people out there who need it.

The next gadget for disable people is a design developed by 3 South Korean industrial designers and it is called – the Self-powered wheelchair. The idea of this wheelchair is to generate electricity and to make is more visible at night. This gadget comes equipped with a built-in power plant that can operate and generate electricity based on the rotation of the wheels.

During the day the electricity is stored in batteries and at night the LED lights installed on the wheels makes the wheelchair more visible. The person who uses this gadget can check and monitor the power stored in the batteries by looking at the LCD screen which is placed in the middle of each wheel.

This cool gadget is an ingenious solution for disable people who want to move during the day but also at night in a safer way. This is a step forward for disable people, but is just only a concept.

Doing the laundry is a challenge for most disable people, but the advanced technology makes the laundry easier and faster for them. Panasonic developed a device that is both a washer and a dryer. This machine helps disable people, because they don’t need to transfer the wet and heavy cloths from one machine to the other.

The machine comes with a sloped drum which makes unloading and loading easier. This Panasonic washing and drying machine is also very easy to program thanks to its easy to use controls and the cloths are dried using a heat-pump, so no heater is used in the drying cycle, making this device extremely energy efficient.

The Honda Walking Assist Device is for people with weakened leg muscles who have a hard time walking and moving. This device is available in 3 sizes and it uses DC motors which run on lithium ion batteries.

The batteries provide up to 2 hours of walking on a single charge and the gadget assists its users when they are walking thanks to the built-in electronic motors. You will find many other Honda innovations and walking assist devices on the Corporate Honda.com website.
