Let's face it: we cannot live without gadgets! They are part of our lives, make a statement when it comes to personal material status, not to mention they make us look cool and hi-tech. Men or women, we are all addicted to technology and this drug makes our wallets shrink every year, our standards grow and us actually find all those gadgets very handy. But what about their functionality?
We are all re-inventing everything, launching similar products with more features every year and, in fact, inventing nothing completely new. So, what have people invented and are trying to sell in 2010? Let's take a close-up into some of the most interesting 2010's gadgets. Because they make us feel cool:
4G Phones coming in 2010
The next generation of 3G Phones is the 4G Phones. It mainly refers to the downloading speed being improved and some other features that you will probably not use. But here's the cool thing: transmitting data at 100Mbps on the move and at up to a gigabit per second while static, the new generation of phones could actually download a full DVD in a couple of minutes. Can they also make me watch that whole DVD in a couple of minutes?
Microsoft 7
As almost everyone knows, the latest version of Windows released was the Vista one in 2007, but not until recently did we know that at first it was intended to be a beta version only. But because Microsoft wanted to make some more money, they released that version and teased us until now with the improved version of Vista, Windows 7. Obviously it is more hi-tech than Vista.
Another Panasonic TV
The nipon company which sells electronics and IT devices released their newest 3D TV of 152 inch screen. As we, of course, will all rush and buy one to put it in the living room...
Open your car by using your Blackberry
Soon people that have a Blackberry will check an object less in their daily lists- car keys. Viper is to launch a soft for Blackberry smartphones that will allow the holder with a single touch of a button to open or close their car. This soft already exists in a more complex form available for iPhones which allows one to open their car's AC or heat. Take that Blackerry!
e-Reader from Skiff
The e-Reader launched by Skiff is one of the biggest from the market, with a 11.5 inch screen. It was specially designed for reading newspapers, magazines or pdf documents. The innovation brought by the company is that the new e-Reader is made from a very flexible material. The reader has a 4GB internal memory, USB port but it also supports Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.
All in all, I am still waiting for a gadget that will provide me food and the exact amount of money so that i can spend it on 150 inch' screen TVs and flexible e-Readers.
