Here you have another two fantastic devices that will make you feel like hopping, coming from those guys who also created the Snowball and the Snowflake. Three cheers for the news, please!

Ok, maybe I’m exaggerating when pretending that you all know what in earth I’m talking about, when there must be lots of people who have never heard a word about Blue Microphones, a company that is well known for their line of USB microphones. But for those who are familiar and ecstatic with Snowball and Snowflake, wait until I tell about Mikey and Eyeball. For those for whom my words are past your Latin, I’m not babbling about some cartoon characters! Not at all!

The Mikey, for example, is an audio recording microphone that was created to work with all sorts of Apple devices, such as iPod 4G, 5G, 6G, iPod Nano 2G, 3G and the classic version of the iPod. The microphone is equipped with three different settings that you can choose from and with an integrated speaker that can be used for playback. You can use the Mikey when you want to record something from a maximum distance of 40 feet, like college lectures, live music or interviews.

The Eyeball, on the other hand, is a USB webcam that comes with an outstanding audio and the most impressive video capabilities ever. As you can easily see in the picture, the webcam is equipped with a speaker that has the shape of a ball and a pop-out webcam. The pop-out feature is a great idea, meant to give you the privacy that you all need. The company says that the Eyeball is perfect for IM and for video conferences.

Both products were presented at the events that took place in the beginning of this year, like the Consumer Electronics Show and the Macworld Expo. If you’re interested in these new products that are coming straight from the creators of the Blue Microphones Snowball, you can find them in places like the Apple Retail Store or Amazon, for $79.99, the Mikey, and $99.99, the Eyeball.
