Galaxy Watch

The good folks over at Tokyo Flash have released yet another futuristic watch design. Known as Galaxy, the new watch reminds of some cool Star Trek devices.

The Japanese guys have accustomed us with unique designs, and the newly released Galaxy watch makes is by no means an exception. The watch is housed in a sleek, newly designed polished silver case and finished with a custom linked, brushed silver strap with polished detail. Tokyo Flash is confident that by wearing the Galaxy, you are making a strong fashion statement, unlikely to be seen anywhere else on the planet.

Once again, the display features a cryptic looking arrangement of segments. However, this is down-right intuitive if you already know the key. One touch of the upper button initiates a programmed animation of light, and then presents the time. Twelve yellow bars represent hours in a clock wise direction, eleven red bars represent groups of five minutes and four green bars show single minutes. Pressing the lower button presents the time immediately.

Galaxy combines the modern and more conservative look of the strap and casing with a futuristic and intuitive method of reading the time. For more details on pricing and availability, check out the Tokyo Flash website.
