A real cinephile must have a huge collection o films, be they VHS cassettes or in DVD and Blu-ray discs. With the latest technologies, you can easily do away with those bulky cassettes, porting that content on digital discs. But what is to be done with so many discs? Dedicate entire shelves for these could be an idea, but what happens if there aren’t any other selves and you don’t want to buy another disc separator? Here’s what to do: get a Digital Coffee Table.

The Digitable coffee table bears the signature of designer Peter Lea, and appears to be a functional piece of furniture that can play your CDs / DVDs and, at the same time, act as a cool and stylish piece of furniture . The table also comes equipped with a sleek control panel integrated right into the frame. Most importantly, the table has a disc storage carousel located in the base of the table. This way, chinephiles can deal with large disc collection. You don’t really want to exhibit a huge pile of discs out in the open, right?

Better yet, when placing your beloved discs within the coffee table, you actually add more style to the décor and you girlfriend/wife will enjoy it too, without defiling your precious movies. The table looks nice, but we still have to wait for some brand name to adopt the concept and commercialize it.
