Coolest Invention
Inventions make our life better by helping us communicate faster and better and to have access to information. That is not all, because inventions also help us live better and for a longer period of time.
One of the coolest inventions is the television. Before the invention itself, the television was part of the science fiction stories. The history of television goes back in 1884 when a university student in Germany patented its first electromechanical television. But only in 1932, after many other developments and new technologies added, the first TV broadcasts was launched by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Today, the TV is something everyone has and we don’t thing of it as an extraordinary invention because it has here when we were born, but for our grandparents or for their parents, this invention is one of the coolest in the world.

An invention closer to us is the Internet. This is the coolest invention ever, because the concept is so amazing and the Internet connected us in ways we couldn’t imagine 80 years ago. The Internet was a social, commercial, cultural and technological revolution that has changed out lives. Today, we can’t imagine our lives without Google, Yahoo, eBay or Amazon, because is the past ten years the Internet took over our lives.
That is not entirely a bad thing because the Internet helps us to communicate with the ones we love, even if they are miles away from us.

The automobile is another cool invention and today a cool car is a lifestyle. The first car had a steam engine and it was built around 1672 by Ferdinand Verbiest, but this was small designed for the Chinese Emperor. Nicolas Jopesh Cugnot was the first one to build a self-propelled mechanical vehicle, but in 1780 the Russian Ivan Kulibin was the first person to build a three-wheeled carriage which came with modern features like: bearings, gear box, brake and flywheel.
In 1806 was invented the first internal combustion engine by a Swiss inventor. The engine had a mixture of oxygen and hydrogen and was made to power the world’s first vehicle.
The plane is another cool invention and the first engine was patented in 1930 by a British engineer Frank Whittle. In 1939 Germany was the first country to fly a jet-powered plane and in 1969 the Boeing 747 Jumbo jet made the air travel affordable, comfortable and fast.
We don’t have to forget about the computer, the one that helps you read this article. The microprocessor was invented in 1970 and the mouse in 1964, but the invention of the computer is a combination between many other inventions. In 1936, Konrad Zune invented the first freely programmable computer and in 1951 was invented the first commercial computer.
