Coolest Billiard Shot Ever

Billiard was invented by the English lords and it was meant to be an entertaining activity. They used a table covered with a green cloth and sixteen balls that were colored differently: one black and a white one that belonged to none of the players and the rest divided in two for each opponent.

Any way, the players use a cue to hit the white ball and a colored one with it and the final purpose is to put all the ball in the pockets and the black ball at the end. Whoever does this first wins the match. Now there are different kinds of billiards, it is also called pool, especially in America and it also has a "half-brother" called snooker where the rules and the table and also the balls differ a bit, but the idea is basically the same.

Any way, this is not just a game you play for fun, it is actually a very clever game that requires all your attention, planning and also skill because if you do not have all of them you just can't win. People who are passionate about this sport spend long hours practicing because you know "practice makes perfect". They also need good trainers to teach them how to think ahead of the opponent and to plan every hit in advance. All these make it pretty similar to chess, so it's also a mind game.

The best pool players know the laws of physiscs, the law of action and interaction and know exactly which way a ball will go if hit in a certain spot. So they will know exactly where to stop the ball, preparing the field for the next shot. If you add an incredible skill and accuracy to these features, you get some really good billiards players that are able to get incredible shots and amaze the audience. Actually there is a trickshot championship just like in snooker where famous pool players gather to show their talent and also the coolest billiard shots ever. Sometimes you may think their shots defy the gravity laws and the ball has a mind of its own, but its all about skill and practice.

The coolest shots make the balls jump on the table, go around the other balls and perform the most amazing moves. The players use the cue and the table for this and if the shot is right the ball can spin on the table and make all the other balls fall in the pockets and clear the table. Some of these trick shots may also involve the use of the ball support, cue or even some domino pieces. The result is all the more spectacular.

Actually the coolest billiard shot ever did involve like five pool tables and lots of domino pieces that were hit by a ball and then by the so famous domino effect made all the other balls on the table enter the table pockets.
