Cool New Gadgets

The technologic "boom" effect is not just momentary. This event is not all about a specific date in time, but rather a point when it splits the old (past) from the new (future). Nowadays, more and more people feel like all the technology is too overwhelming for them, and their right. You might be a gadget fan, but I am guessing you are somewhere in your middle 20s.

Give it some time, the necessity of feeling free, calm and stress free comes with time. Also with time comes the need of normal gadgets, not so sophisticated and hard to follow. Everybody enjoys music, good music, and strange music, whatever feels right. One of the best invented gadgets of this decade is by all means the music player.

The coolest gadget on the market, even more special is it's simple to use and doesn't prove irritating when you're coming home from work, or working out (two simple events in everyone's life, which can be at times stressful). So, are you looking for an easy to use music player, which only brings happiness into your somewhat grey life? Aren't we all looking for something that helps our mood? Only honest answers will be aloud! Apple delivers the solution.

The 2009 refresh of iPod shuffle, an excellent music player, and a pioneer in the music player market. Every manufacturer tried (and some still try) to deliver something as close as the shuffle. Just call it the coolest music player on the gadget market. It now comes not only in black and grey, but also in attractive colors such as glamorous pink, blue and green. Their cases are made out of anodized aluminum which delivers an improved built quality, making the refreshed shuffle more sleek and durable.

Also, the shuffle sports a stainless steel finish. It is easy to use, with a clip to secure it offering a freedom feeling. Imagine that it only has a height of 1.8 inches (45.2 mm), wide of 0.7 inch (17.5 mm), deep of 0.3 inch (7.8 mm), shuffle only weight about 0.38 ounce (or 10.7 grams). You should worry about the storage capacity exactly as much you worry about where to put it. The iPod shuffle comes in two configurations possible, regarding only the internal storage embedded.

You can choose between a 2 GB or 4 GB flash drive. For the first version you can store up to 500 songs using the 128 Kb per second AAC encoding format, while for the 4 GB model you can save about 1000 songs using the same music format. And now, even more stress free news, with the excellent built in rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery with a total playback time of 10 hours. Just charge it before going to bed for 2 hours and you get 80% battery capacity for the next day.

Give in another hour and your shuffle will have its battery completely recharged. Don't worry about file formats. Shuffle is compatible with all AAC formats, MP3 VBR, AIFF, WAV and MP3 with any conversions (up to 320 Kb per second). Don't worry about fragile displays and click wheels or anything else. The coolest music player on the market comes only with a switch button with three modes: turn off, play in order, and shuffle. Remember, this is an iPod. Therefore, it is needless to say that it provides the best music solutions. "Voice Over" is one of the best features that shuffle provides.

This function will tell you (only when you ask it) exactly what song you are listening and who is the artist and other ID3 tags attached to the song. Multiple playlist is a piece of cake for 2009 shuffle. You probably have a playlist for going home, one for the gym, one for outdoors and so on. Using "Voice Over" just simply chose any playlist you would like to hear. For a better usability you should go with the access controls earphones delivered separately. It will provide a better user experience than without it.

Because of these access controls you can easily increase or decrease volume or change songs as you wish. By the way, "Voice Over" speaks 20 different languages, so that you can understand it, and it will understand you (including Chinese, Czech, Danish, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Norwegian, Greek, Italian, Finnish, French, Korean, Dutch, and others).

The containing box is a masterpiece when you look at it (hopefully you have chosen a colorful shuffle). The retail box contains the iPod shuffle, earphones, iPod shuffle USB cable and a quick start guide. Remember to attach to your operating system (Leopard, Snow Leopard, Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional or Home edition with Service Pack 3) the iTunes 9 software (or later) before connecting the shuffle to your computer.

Another stress free factor, and in the same time a cool feature is the price list (2 GB for $59, 4 GB for $79, and for the shuffle in polished stainless steel 4 GB for $99). Overall the coolest gadget that provided the "boom" factor in this decade is the iPod shuffle, great music gadget with excellent features and impressive built quality for the autogenic in you.
