Computerize Gadgets For The Classroom
Nobody can deny that technology is at great use in most of the domains nowadays, and is also really handy when it comes to the educational system. Computers hooked up to a super-speed internet, video projectors, video cameras, PDAs, USB Flashes, all of these technology pieces have become more than known and highly used in the educational field, starting with kindergarten and ending up with even more hi-tech gadgets in universities across the Globe. Some schools have taken technology that far, that only allow students to bring their laptops into the class, to write down notes on their laptops and even take exams on the same devices. Under these circumstances, I wonder myself if we truly find in an over-technological era, or that we will only become semi-illiterates who cannot write down by hand a single sentence without using caps look or an auto-correcting grammar program.
But students are not the only ones who can benefit a lot from the classroom gadgets. Teacher can also benefit a lot from the centered technology that comes in help for them. Gadgets that are used strictly by teachers are designed to either enhance presentations, help with bookkeeping or assist with outside communications. Interactive whiteboards, although quite expensive still, have also gained popularity in the last years because they provide an interface between the students and the virtual space, allowing teachers to transform one boring lectures into real-time multimedia presentations.
As for our dearest students, many inventions have been made in order to help students create an easier personal way to understand, search and learn the information teachers are giving in their classes. Some of the most handy devices students might use are:

The Logitech digital pen
Say goodbye to your number two pencils and leaky ink pens and hello to digital note taking! The Logitech io Pen digitally captures everything you write or draw including notes, drawings, sketches, and even your doodles. With devices such as the io Digital pen, your notes are downloaded directly to your PC via USB interface in the same format that you entered them. This means no more dozens of pages hand written at classes and no more wasted hours trying to find what you written two weeks ago during your maths course. Plus, you save a lot of trees by appealing to newer technology!

USB Pocket drives
Most universities provide free access to Internet and pieces of technology in their campuses or libraries, but the biggest problem is that students cannot save the information found and take it for later due to restrictive access hours or different banning imposed by library rules. But, also due to newer technologies, students can now take an USB drive, plug it in the computer and copy all sorts of materials, from photos to movies, notes, online books etc.
What would we do without this help-the-student gadgets?
