Making a band in our days is like making a sandwich: it takes so much time to prepare it, and you almost never get to enjoy ir because it finishes so quick. Hilariously, still, there are plenty of youngsters across the globe who seek for world fame and trying to make a hit with their garage bands, even though, in the bottom of their harts, they know they will never get to have fans, play on stadium or have groupies. Still, we are not here to discourage you! Maybe you’ll make a good band one day with your friends and be the next Beatles.

Anyway, making a band requires a lot of time. First, it’s the gender you want to play a big issue: you might want to play rock ballades or pop-rock gigs, but still you write lyrics for more soft songs or whatsoever, so subscribing to a single gender you want to approach can be very difficult, time consuming and in the end, not so efficient as you would want also. Another pain is finding the write name for the band. Many names might sound right but maybe not right enough for what you want. Still, if you are looking for some band names which my sound cool, never forget that many others have already thought of it and made online generators for names that you could never ever come up with, but which might sound pretty cool after all. In order to get the idea and never forget that Juliet herself didn’t get the importance of a good name:
What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other word would smell as sweet.”
–From Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2)”

Meanwhile, the list of unused band names becomes shorter, as the number of aspiring rock stars sprout about. If you are still looking for a cool name that will sound good for your band, you might want to check some random band name generator sites, like the following:
- leonsrandomgenerator.com provides you besides band name generators other cool things like random generators for song lyrics, chord progressions or other amusing nonsense that you will probably never use.

-bandnamemaker.com allows you also to insert an optional word for your favourite combo. You might not find the most appealing results, but it’s a very fun way to start your international star career. Nevertheless, some band names that seem just a row of non-sense words put together are still having success and enjoy a slice of the big showbiz pie; really, how cool really sound names like “Smashing pumpkins”, “Death cab for cutie” or others? There are so many weird band names that I can’t even think of, but who knows, maybe in your one moment madnass, you will find that band name that is appealing to both ears and public and maybe you can be the next “New kinds on the block” or Maroon 5.
