Coolest Photo Ever

Photography brought a new range of possibilities of recording events and places and faces exactly, without the subjective interpretation of painters. Besides, photos take a shorter time than paintings to be made and they are a lot more accurate. But photography has evolved a lot since its invention and it can now be considered an art form. There are amateur photographers who take photos for personal use – you know that everybody has a digital camera these days and we all have lots of personal photos, but they mean something only for us and a small group of other people: family and friends.

But there are also professional photographers who make a living out of taking photos. Some of them are paid to take shots to illustrate certain newspaper columns, some others make only artistic photos that reflect their visions as artists, some go to the war zones and take photos that become documents and there are also some who call themselves fashion photographers and they are the best to know how to highlight the best features in a fashion model and make her look incredibly beautiful. Of course photographers have a lot of help these days because they no longer use films and they now have the possibility to edit the photos taken. They now have very professional hence that can take clear photos from the distance and digital zoom and everything. So it seems that if you have some talent for this art it’s not so difficult to get some really good photos.
Many people want to know what is the coolest photo ever, but this is very difficult to say. First of all there are so many different opinions and so many different categories of photos, that you can’t possibly pick only one. There are lots of very beautiful photos , but people’s opinions and taste may vary a lot, so what some may consider the coolest photo ever can be regarded as ordinary by others. And it also depends on the interests people have. For example i consider photos with babies as the cooliest, but this is because I have two small children, so I am being really subjective. But other people who like astronomy and all the planets and the space think the best photos are the ones taken with the help of Hubble telescope.
There are even awards that are given every year to the best shots and prizes, but people’s recognition is the most important. A photo that was taken from above the Himalayas that showed all the peaks and the mountains in the area in a very clear day is among my favorites. Then there’s one photo that appeared on the cover of National Geographic magazine some good years ago that moved me: it was the portrait of a little girl who had to move from her country because of the war. Her deep green eyes were so sad that they moved the whole world. But words are only words and a picture can’t be described accurately by using them.
