Bluetooth headset with 3 functions

Monday, February 25th, 2008 |

Bluetooth headsets are used to do one thing : made you look like a bit of a fool! Very funny, I know! :)

The BIZZ bluetooth headset works as a rather swish looking headset with up to 6 hours talk time and weighs in at a tiny 10 grams. When you remove the speaker cover though, the device is suddenly a flash USB key which uses a Micro SD card or an SDHC card to store up to 8GB of data. When your battery dies you don’t need to search around for your bulky charger, because you can plug the device itself straight into your computer and charge it. Very interesting this 3 in 1 product, don’t you think?

The Android Phone

Thursday, February 7th, 2008 |

Recently I’ve read a Reuters report saying that a mobile processor maker, named ARM will show a working cell phone concept that runs on Google’s Android OS. This could happen at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, next week. This is not the only one android prototype, but it might be the greatest one.

Traditional Windows Mobile supporter HTC has already said it will be one of the first manufacturers to offer a device.
Google is the main player behind the Open Handset Alliance, which announced Android in November.

Duofone Concept

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 |

The Duofone Concept it is just like any other slick concept but this time, it’s not about mega-pixels, or screen resolution, or even smartphone abilities. Here, it is all about putting 2 of them together to combine their screen real estate.
These 2 phones can share each other’s battery power, if one is low. One it can increase its abilities when paired with its “partner”.

I would really love to have the Duofone Concept. This combination of two phones looks amazing, don’t you think?

iPhone Spurs Web Traffic

Although Apple didn’t offered any important iPhone upgrades, the device still made waves.
Apple sold more than 4 million iPhones since it was launched and it seems that Google received more traffic from iPhone this Christmas, than from any other mobile device. That means that many people that own iPhones used it to access the Internet.
Apple made the iPhone more for music, but it seems that downloading music to mobile phones has not proved to be a popular activity.

According to a recent study, 20 % of mobile users internationally listen to music on their mobile devices, but 83 % of them are uploading the music from their computers or from other devices rather than downloading it from a mobile music service.
The most interesting news is that in February, Apple will release a new software development kit that can be used to write applications for the iPhone. This is great for developers to use.
Until now, the developers were limited to writing web-based applications.
We can wait for this new software development kit.
