Coolest Cruise Ever

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 |

I’m sure many of you thought at least once about going on a cruise. Sun, sea, crystal waters, wind, waves crashing and, of course, the beautiful stops. The recipe for an unforgettable cruise is to mix, in the same boll, exotic destinations, sunny days, tanning, umbrella cocktails, laziness and powdery beaches. And while some of us might only dream about getting a few weeks off from work to actually go to a vacation of this sort, some others already experienced this holiday alternative, wrote down their experiences, and were ready to share the whole world the goods and bads of an escapade like this. If you are booked to a experience of this kind in the following, there are some things you might want to know that would come in hand. First of all, cruises make wonderful family vacations. Large cruise ships cater to all ages and many offer both interesting as well as educational packages of activities that will appeal to all tastes and ages. From snorkeling to diving, chilling to the pool area, entertainment zones and dedicated lounges, spas and restaurants, large cruise ships will absolutely fulfill your wishes for the coolest cruise you will ever experience.

If you are planning to go with your kids on a cruise, the Disney Cruise Line will offer you, besides the guaranteed giggles, a large ship that can host 1500 people or more. Karaoke, workshops on animation and loads more- these are the sort of activities that won’t let your kids get bored not even for a second. And while the little ones are getting charmed by Disney characters, the mature people are kept busy with trivia contests and spas. The shore trips offer you the possibility to become a dolphin trainer for a day or learn how to roll a good cigar. In 2010, all roads lead to Europe (and Rome). Crystal Cruises line best fits those of you who seek activities combined with a pleasant design, who are easily bored and always hard to impress. The design varies deck by deck, but most accommodations feature sliding-door verands and Frette bathrobes. The mattresses will make sure you have a baby sleep. This sort of cruises also excel at onboard activities, among we recall foreign languages lessons, thai chi and Wine parties. Cruisers claim “This is easily the most pleasant way to see the British Isles.”

For “spa-holics who happen to be married to adrenaline junkies” as a website would write, the Regent Seven Seas Cruises are the best option. You can enjoy sailing across the globe from wood-accented rooms with private balconies that will assure you a positive and relaxing attitude in the whole time. On arrival, guests are received with strawberries and champagne, while signature restaurants offer menus from the popular Le Cordon Bleu. Shore trips may explore vanilla plantations in Tahiti or dog sledding in Juneau. What to add more? In our days, you just need a sack of money to create the coolest cruise ever for you and your beloved ones.

Coolest Bars In Patong

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010 |

If you ever visit Thailand, it is impossible and shameful if you don’t stay at least a few days in the capital Bangkok. The whole Asian decor, among with the exotic foods and drinks, the exquisite decors and landscapes will certainly make your visit even more overwhelming, but still one of the best. And after you finish visiting the tourists area of the capital, filled with monuments, architectures, museums and culture, you might want to see the other part of the life, a very agitated and sleepless one, the night life. Bangkok’s nightlife is associated with Netherland’s capital, Amsterdam, in many ways. From the red light district areas and bars, till the very known Go-Go bars and the range of activities that they whole offer, a night in Bangkok for personal experiences is a must. And what better area to explore by your own the Asian wonders, if not the Patpong district?
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
Patpong Road is probably the most famous street in Bangkok and it consists of two streets, the Patpong 1 and 2. Even though the streets are famous for hosting more Go-Go bars that one could possibly imagine, in these days, many people come in the district for the good shopping and bargains. Still, for a one life experience in Thai’s capital, Go-Go bars remain the best places to visit. But if you want to avoid unpleasantness, you might want to stay away from two floors bars because you can often get over charged, so, unless you want to argue with personnel in Asian languages, you should probably stick to smaller and more intimate bars.

And while talking of fine locals, bars and restaurants, The Patpong area has over 100 bars and nightclubs so,  you might want to throw an eye on the following suggestions: Bourbon Street is an authentic American bar, entirely American owned. The bar serves excellent food and cocktails and the costs are mid-range. Draft beers as well as dishes like ribs, steaks and chicken feel like home in this cozy bar. A very pleasant dining experience, as well as after-hours party hoster, Bourbon Street won many prizes well deserved too.

94°c Coffee is a rather outlet coffee with emphasis on open spaces for department stores which offer coffee. It is also a great alternative for those of you who enjoy a good coffee as well as a good, human-filled view. Admiral’s Pub and Restaurant offers different foreign cuisines, as well as English food in a large wood panel Thailand house. Wednesdays and Saturdays they have all you can eat menus that, with a barbecue and a salad won’t cost more than 395 Baht. It is a very good place for all of you coming from Europe or who, at least, enjoy Dutch, Finish and Scandinavian foods and traditions. All Time Coolest Movies Felini

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010 |

Federico Fellini is one of the most known film directors ever, that distinguished himself by blending fantasy and baroque images. It is considered as one of the most influential and widely revered film makers of the 20th century, as well as the best Italian film director. During his almost 50 years of activity, he received an impressive number of distinctions, awards and appreciations, among the most important Oscar nominees and awards. Movies such as “8 and a half”, “Casanova” or “La dolce vita” received various Oscar distinctions and were highly appreciated by the critics and the public worldwide.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
Highly appreciated worldwide, in 1974 Fellini received the 27th Cannes Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award along with French director Rene Clair followed by the 1990’s Japan Arts Association’s Praemium Imperiale and 1993’s Oscar for his Lifetime Achievement. His movies remain unequaled in many ways and the stories he told and expressed via the art of films are classic love stories, as well as life stories.

Many of the All time coolest movies include Fellini and his works, suchs as “8 1/2″ (1963), “La Dolce Vita” (1960), “Satyricon” (1969), “Roma” (1972), “City of Women” (1980) or, an all time classic, “Casanova” (1973).

At his best, Fellini was a provocateur, using his films to best explore the psyche, but throughout his career, he was a man of extremes- you either hated him or loved him. His vague frames mixed with the already vague plot allowed his audience to create an own interpretation of what might happen to the characers, involving them actively in the process of creation and keeping their attention vivid towards the whole film. But by far, the best known film he ever directed remains La Dolce Vita. In its director’s classic style, the plot of the movie blend the love and fear of women with the search for spirituality. The chaotic life of the characters is deliberately disjointed through frames in order to dramatize even more the pecuniar existence of humans themselves and the frugality of human feelings. Made in 1969, Fellini’s Satyricon is a rather odd movie that follows the destinies of two friends as they kidnap a Roman Goddess from her temple; after the God dies, the main characters are punished with a case of impotence. The full picture is in between sad, funny and scary, as the title leads us to old Greek dramas played in a very large theater. Certainly an odd movie, but one of a reference in the director’s portfolio.

8 1/2 is another masterpiece semi autobiographical movie. It is filled with wonderful sets and decors, as well as with equally beautiful women and it mainly tells the story of a director stuck in the world of drama, demands and personal aches.

Coolest Bar In Manila

Monday, May 3rd, 2010 |

Philippines is one of the coolest places where you can spend your vacation. The weather is very nice, beaches are cool, not to mention the warm locals and beautiful girls. Still, you can’t possibly go to the Asian Philippines and not try at least two things: the wonderful, tasty and exotic foods and the night life. And while you can taste some culinary goodies during the day and relax, the agitated night life is a must, and it can also be combined with the tasty foods. Because, what better way of relaxation while on vacation, if not hitting a cool bar for a drink after a very good dinner?

So, if you feel like partying in high style and class, you should head off to Embassy Cuisine, the best super club in the whole country. The music played is mainly trance and house and on Wednesdays it is pure hip hop and R’n'B. But if you want to have an exquisite time and be seen, you should go to the Embassy Super Club. Its VIP rooms and hang outs are definitely the place to be seen in and the staff is quite pleasant too, everything to make you have one hell of a night! Alchemy is also one of the best partying places, which is ready to race the Embassy. It is a must-see bar with its challenging and entertaining music, differently played on each of the three floors. So, imagine how quite big it is. It is only the three floor European Style Club. The club also features five bars and two large dance floors, so there is plenty of room for everybody to move. One of the rules to enter this Super Club is to dress in style and class, so expect only A-list and celebs around here, near Valle Verde. Ascened is also a place to be if you are heading or, already in Manila. It is defined as a highly-energetic place but which also runs for the stylish restaurant or cocktail lounge names. The bar features many state-of-art videos and audio systems for a better and more eclectic atmosphere. Its main purpose is to become the best place where the 3 Ds meet: drink, dine and dance. As stated by others, “Ascend is the contemporary metropolitan gem that brings a whole new meaning to entertainment and excitement in the urban area.”

If you prefer locals with a younger crowd, the Basement is the place to be. Usually crowded by high school kids, the place keeps the atmosphere cool through House music beets. The Basement can be an attractive and appeal zone due to the proximity to many establishments and to the call center industry.
