Houses come in different forms and shapes, luxurious or modest, big or small, but what is the coolest house ever? In the next lines we are going to answer to this question.

The coolest house ever is the Seashell House from Mexico City. This house has designed the architect Javier Senosiain. This house is fully integrated in nature and as the name says it, it has a seashell form. It was specially made for a young couple who wanted to change their living from a conventional home into an “organic†house. The house is a blend of contemporary art and modern architecture with large and open spaces. At the entrance the house greets you with a very colorful wall made of little glass pieces that creates a lot of bright light in the interior and wonderful game of colors.
The first think you will see in the interior is an impressive green garden with a lot of grass and trees and in the middle a nice and cozy sofa. The vegetation is fully integrated with the house in a harmonic area and the spiral stairs makes you feel like you are floating over the grass.
Beside the grass and the whole vegetation the house is leading it guests through a lot of stone paths which lead to the areas of the house. You really feel like you are in wonderful garden or park when you are walking trough this amazing house.
The seashell idea can be also seen in the bathroom, the place where you are near the water thanks to its wonderful blue titles, sandy walls and the overhead window.
This house is also a safe one; it is earthquake-proof thanks to its “ferrocement constructio†a type of construction that which uses a frame made of steel-reinforced wire that is covered in a very thick 2-inch layer of concrete. The bedroom is also unique, you will not see a lot of furniture, only a king size bed and a small closet which is integrated into the house line.
It is an amazing house to live in, you feel free, you feel like you were living in nature but actually the nature is living in this house and not the other way around.
The next cool house is an underground home from Swiss village, Switzerland. The area where the house is located is full of mountains and trees and if you don’t carefully you will miss it for sure. The house is not fully underground; it has an elliptical and wide opening for a wonderful view of the mountains. The house is made of stone and even a lot of it is underground it has a large outdoor entertaining area which is leading you to the main entrance. The house has another entrance from a barn close to the house that can lead the guest into the house through an underground pathway. The house has enough natural light due to its large opening.
Where is the worst place to construct a house? In the desert, of course! But not if you see the next cool desert house that has its on paradise garden in the middle of Idaho desert. This is a contemporary house with al the appliances and the technology you need to live a pleasant life in it. This modern house has design as a residence home with an art creating studio and a showcase. This house was built from low-maintenance materials like plywood, car-decking and a lot of concrete blocks. The concrete blocks are able to withstand the desert climate: harsh wind and a lot of sun and high temperatures. The paradise garden is protected from the wild landscape and harsh climate by concrete walls. In paradise garden you can see a lot of trees and plants grow big and beautiful without being affected of the high temperatures and the desert wind.
The next cool house is ultra modern and a futuristic one. You can find it in Los Angeles, California and is innovative, beautiful and contemporary. The unique design of this house is hard to describe because it looks like a picture gallery and a creative live-work environment of a painter. The architects used a lot of geometry in this house construction, they played with a lot of shapes and forms and the result was this amazing home. Everything about this house is futurist: the kitchen, the bathroom and the elliptical-shaped living room that is a luxurious lounge by night and a workstation by day. This impressive house couldn’t be complete without a stylized garden, a floating fireplace and a spa area.
Tree houses are great for the kids to play in but also for adults to live in. A cool tree house is in Portland, Oregon which looks like it is floating through the forest. It is not a simple house, is a very modern and contemporary. The main living area sits in the canopy being surrounded of beautiful green leaves and the whole forest. Is a great place to leave in, you don’t have to worry about the noisy neighbors, the pollution and the traffic near the house. You got the whole forest to your self to enjoy.
The glass houses always offer amazing views of the surroundings areas and one the most beautiful views is the one offered by the Hollywood Hills. The house embraces modern and innovative ideas with organics architecture elements, for example glass and wood. The house has a spa-like in every room and you feel like you are in a permanent holiday.
Everyone likes Japanese architecture because is so special and unique. This cool Japanese house is wonderful and weird whit its pyramidal shape. The entire house structure is standing on a glass main floor giving everyone the illusion that the house is floating. Inside the house we find a modern contemporary style that embraces the modern exterior.
The next cool house looks like a peace of metal breaking through the sand’s surface. This house is a beach house is located in Australia and it is surrounded by a lot o beaches and sand dunes.
The main idea of the houses construction was the unfolding of an origami piece, this aspect gives the house wonderful and weird angles, movement and fluidity. These are the features that make this house so special. This geometric wonder has an unexpected entry and a lot of internal space.
