I am pretty sure that you have all heard of Batman and his crew and his permanent fight against the villains in Gotham City. No matter how old or young you are, we all have taken our share of Batman. My grandma remembers the comic books with Batman, my mother saw the first movies with Batman and I continue the path by watching every single movie in this series. I can bet that boys especially are really thrilled about the Batmobile and all the bat gadgets that Batman carries with him everywhere. They have pretty unusual ways of being used and seem to appear at the exact time and place in the belt most of the times.

I know I wondered more than once if Batman really thought of all possible bad circumstances and brought all those gadgets with him or was it the suit or the belt the one that were able to invent them according to every situation. Of course all the gadgets that we saw in all the version of Batman movies depended a lot on the imagination of the script writer first and of the director who made that particular movie. That is why these Bat gadgets may differ a lot from one movie to another. I guess they are adapted to match the situations encountered and save the main character in any way possible.
Besides the famous Bat mobile that could turn shapes and transform in a weird transportation device, I know I was fascinated by the belt. First the belt only contained a few choking gas capsules, but then it developed into a real arsenal of small weapons. This belt may differ in appearance and is not very obvious when you look at Batman, but it houses a lot of other little gadgets that turn out to be really useful. It is made of kevlar and it usually has more compartments.
Here are some examples of gadgets that can be found in this belt: batarangs (some kind of throwing weapons), cuffs, lasso, bat-tracer that is used to trace Batman’s enemies, night vision goggles, darts with tranquilizers, Bat goo gun – a kind of gun that throws an adhesive foam on the enemies and glues them to a certain surface, grapple gun that throws a hook that is attached to a very resistant rope that helps Batman climb tall building or jump over gaps, a small laser flashlight that is also used as a cutting device, smoke grenades, hand saw and even a Kryptonite ring used only in emergencies , usually against a bad Superman.
Apparently Batman has all the bat gadgets he needs all the time. Imagine that you put all the things I mentioned above in only one place and you will see that you need a pretty heavy bag or something like that, not a very small belt, but this is supposed to be fiction, not real life. Any way, besides all these devices Batman can always find a medical kit when he needs one and also all kinds of communication devices, either kept in his hands or in his ear, looking like a small bug.
But no matter how incredible these gadgets may look, they are the ones that fascinated us in the first place and Batman would not be a super hero without them, but just a simple guy trying to fight crime in a fantasy city.

Kids just love games and gadgets and gizmos. And they also hate learning or anything that is presented in an unattractive form to them. So when you want to make them study some serious stuff and do not want to hear them complain about it, you’d better get creative and present it in a very attarctive manner, as a game or as an opportunity of having fun together. Apparently this works every time if you are inventive enough and choose the right tools for every age group characteristic.

Gadget’s garage may sound as a construction game or a computer game that helps children learn the car parts or tests their skills when teaching them how to assemble or disassemble a car in or from parts. Well, to tell you the truth That is exactly what I thought at first sight, but apparently somebody did get creative and invented a whole new way that presents the stories from the Bible in a pleasant manner to the children that attend a Bible Study Camp in USA. There are a lot of groups and families in USA and all over the world who are very passionate about studying the bible and want their children to share their passion and also consider it the basic knowledge for life, so they send their children in special summer camps where they have a special program for studying the bible and also have fun.
The basic kit you need for supporting the activities in such a camp is presented under the name of Gadget’s garage and so are all the activities in the camp – Gadget’s garage activities or seminars. There are also video presentations with two main characters, called Gadget and its robot partner – Gizmo. They are the ones introducing the children in the miraculous world of the bible stories and the logo used by them is “Jesus makes all things new”. Quite an interesting approach if you ask me.Even the name chosen for the character playing the garage owner part is not chosen randomly, but it is in fact an acronym, as it really meant God Always Does Great Exciting Things.
If you are ever interested in organizing similar activities and want the support for the courses and activities you plan, you can purchase the basic kit you need for all this and you will get a whole package with video files and presentations, fliers, extracts from the Bible with pictures on and simple explanations for children and also a lot of support papers and materials for what you intend to do. You can purchase the kit here.
Children might be also interested in purchasing some toys and puppets with their two friends – Gadget and Gizmo that accompanied them throughout the Vacation Bible Camp, but also books with stories from the Bible and other interesting materials. They can follow this link and order directly on the web site the item or items they want to buy. So studying can be fun after all.

My mother’s generation only saw gadgets in movies – you know the famous James Bond series with Roger Moore or Sean Connery who used to take out a lot of strange and cool devices of their pockets. All the boys dreamed about being Bond, James Bond and all the girls dreamed about being the hot blond hanging Bond’s arm. Well, things have changed a lot these days and now we no longer have to dream because now we have access to all kinds of gadgets and devices James Bond did not even dream about. He did not have an iPad or an iPhone or a GPS, right? And you have lots of other gadgets you can purchase if you want to be cool and trendy or just because you like gadgets so much.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
You can have all the things I mentioned before and a few more, like an MP3 or MP4 player, headsets, car keys with remote control and so on. The only problem now is where to keep all of them. You want them always with you , somewhere you can have access immediately and something that can allow you to use some of these gadgets while holding them or transporting them. But of course, there are some people always ahead of others who thought of this and came up with some wonderful ideas for gadget holders.
Some of these holders look like small bags where you can keep the gadgets and these bags also have a lot of pockets of different sizes that are meant for every gadget in particular. I saw gadget holders that are carried around the shoulders , like gun holsters, or around the waist or hip, having different models and designs, but all looking cool and very nice.
But I also saw some very unusual gadget holders that can be used inside the house or even inside your car. They are used as support for different gadgets in order to let you find them immediately and also hold them steady in the car instead of just slipping away in your car when you are turning at curves. Any way, I was fascinated by all the things that I saw here and I wanted them all at home. Some of them are really useful and some are really good-looking, but they are all eye-catching. They are very much preferred by the young generation who is so much into all kinds of gadgets and electronic devices and are more or less addicted to their devices, using them frenetically.
I made a selection of the most representative models of such gadget holders that you can admire if you follow these links: www.gizmodo.com, www.unplggd.com, www.coolest-gadgets.com, www.zedomax.com, www.coolgadgetconcept.com, www.dealextreme.com.
I don’t know if you can find them for sale in the region where you live but you will certainly find them on the internet sooner or later. Or, why not, they will give you the inspiration to make such accessories yourself. And the satisfaction will be doubled.

It can be difficult and confusing when trying to write an article about a certain thing, having a certain topic and realizing that means more than one thing. For example when you first see “gadget Gary” it does not mean anything to you at first sight. But if you dig up a bit you will find at least three possible answers to the question “Who on Earth is Gadget Gary?”
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
The first explanation is for those who love computer games, especially the ones about mechanics , cars and repair shops. This game is actually called “Gadget Gary : Building cars” and it can be purchased on CD or download some parts from the internet. Gadget Gary is the owner of a junk pile and if you are his friend you can look into the pile and find car parts that you can use to build real cars. After you succeed to finish a car you can paint it and go for a ride and even go in front of a jury to have your car admired and assessed and you can even win some prizes. You can build normal looking cars or you can be creative and invent your own machines that are made up of very different parts you would not think can be combined in order to obtain a moving vehicle. If you are interested in this child game you can visit the following web site.
The second Gadget Gary I found is in fact called Gary the Gadget guy and is a character in the interactive online game or in fact collection of games – Club Penguin. He is the only inventor in this penguin world and is known to always wear a white lab coat. He is also a scientist and invents all kinds of crazy stuff and he is always seen drinking coffee and wearing his twisted glasses. He has his own page dedicated on Wikia and if you want more information about him you can follow the link.
Last, but not least, it’s gary Dell’Abate, a long time producer of the Howard Stern Show that is on air every morning at a New York radio and also writes his usual column “Gadget Gary” in Sound and Vision magazine. He is very much into the latest technology and he just loves all kinds of gadgets and devices and he even said there are at least five gadgets he could not live without.
Sound and Vision magazine is a tech magazine and Gary writes his column monthly here and he describes all kinds of gadgets he tests for the readers. You can find a lot of interesting things about things like your iPhone, ipad or any other gadget and all the features and technical specifications are given in a very personal and pleasant style. The articles are written more from the point of view of an user of that particular gadget than from the point of view of an expert and Gary uses a very clear and simple language that is very explicit and nice at the same time.
I guess you will have to choose the Gadget gary you were looking for and read the few words I wrote about him.
