Coolest Outfit

Indarra Dtx is a very small but innovative design company for outfits from Buenos Aires. Their principal idea is to experiment technology and apply it to cloths and different fabrics, which should result to unexpected combinations and an improve to the future outfits.  This company was launched in 2008, by Julieta Gayoso, at the biggest annual design fair from Buenos Air, Puro Diseno. Their released collection contained a jacket with an anti-stain treatment, a solar vest, t-shirts made from bamboo plants or lyocell shirts.

The solar jacket has an attached and flexible support panel that is producing a voltage when exposed to radiant energy and generates enough to power any personal gadget. This panel it is using a Li-ion rechargeable battery and have slots for other devices like iPods or PMPs, PDAs,  digital video or photo cameras pr another rechargeable batteries. The output voltage volume can be stabilized only by a press of a button.

This jacket it is also eco- friendly because it can save more than one hundred batteries per year.

This article of clothing is made from cotton and vegetable natural silk distilled from wood plants. It can be dressed even in rain conditions because it have an impermeable appearance of surface. Inside it have a slight line from the left pocket to the center that represents the cable which connects the power box to the solar panel. Another pocket for some other necessities it is placed on its right side.

This innovative outfit can look a little expensive because it may cost up to 1200 pesos, which means 400 American dollars  but its benefits are enormous.

If you think that a solar jacket it is a little too much, but you still need to conserve some energy for your gadget’s batteries you can try a designer hand bag with the same qualities. This very fashionable solution was brought by Mark Farina. You can make from every bag an ecological and totally stylish one. You will only need to add it a 1.3 Watt solar panel and a battery, following the next instructions. You need just the 1.3 Watt Panel, which can costs from 30 to 90 dollars, a circuit box set that costs 3 dollars, a jetpack battery set, at 75 dollars and, of course, your favorite bag. You will need also and some optional tools like a glue, a sharp knife and some thread.

First of all you will need to cut slow and exactly a hole in the front panel of the bag, in which will match the solar panel. For more exacted cutes, trace the borders with a panel, and after that follow that line with the knife. Don’t throw the remained fabrics because you will need them later to cover up the edges of the panel. After this step, try to attach the solar panel on the backing, admitting also the centers and the screws. The glue will work in addition as long as you will press on the panel softly and without too much force.

You will need after you have mounted the solar panel, to put also and the battery, wherever you want inside of the bag and after to connect them using the circuit box. This circuits are able to prevent the energy lost and the power to flow back from the battery to the panel. Because the circuit box have a  small weight you can glue some small parts of Velcro and fix them to the bag’s backside. This will make them secure and hard to loose. Also, for the wires you can use some stitches smart placed, to prevent their broke.

In the circuit box you will find a LED. Its role will be to announce you when the lights that hits the panel are enough. Decide where you want this LED to be placed and cut a small circular hole in the bag. Using the cables, get in touch  the Led with the circuit box and introduce it in the hole that you just made. Some other stitches here and it will be also safe from loosing.  The last step is more difficult that you have thought because you will need to take this new and improved bag out on the town and present it to your friends. They will be very curious and will ask you many questions about this cool outfit but they will finally get used with your personal energy reservoir.

We hear this word everywhere, either if it’s about programs or some other kind of technology. The truth is many people don’t know the meaning of the word gadget, also known as gizmo.

To be as precise as possible, a gadget is a small technological object. It can be either a device or an application thought to be more ingenious and unusually designed than other.

Although, it started as a small range of gadgets, today we can classify existent gadgets in various categories, such as:

- Mechanical gadgets, which include clocks, thermometers, and bicycles, that comes in a very large number.

- Programmable gadgets include almost any modern device.

- Application gadgets are small computer programs, such as the ones that Google Desktop implements.

- Eco-friendly gadgets are ones that are solar powered and can be used from lighting your garden to charging batteries or phones.

- Electronic gadgets is a category that has a few other subcategories:

• USB gadgets has a lot of benefits and that’s why they are very numerous and diverse. The simplest gadget known and owned by most people is the USB Flash Card. Other examples are the USB Heating Gloves or the USB Cup Heater. As long as you have a computer around, they are very easy to use. All you need is an USB port, at least 1.1. They are small so easy to carry around and require low power.
  

• iPod gadgets are the one that can be attached to the iPod or the ones the iPod can be attached to. For instance, mini or big audio systems, handbags, and even anti-pick-pocket locks with password coding.

• Spy gadgets are the most sophisticated ones. They can be spy cameras or night vision binoculars, listening devices, and even lie detectors.

• Watch gadgets come very in handy when in need of a calculator or calendars. Some of them can store music and pictures files and have playing features. In addition, others have built-in flash drives or walkie-talkies.

• Health gadgets is the one category that actually serves a good purpose. These gadgets can check for your blood pressure, temperature or sugar level and others can normalize them.

• Cell phone gadgets are most modern cell phones and their accessories.

• Other type of gadgets is all of those gadgets meant to entertain us and to make our lives much easier.

Like I said before, there are all kinds of gadgets meant to improve our lives and make it easier. Every one of them is useful in one way or another. Some are addressed to certain ages, while others are for all ages. Big companies rely on the fact that as the technological world goes only forward, they will always come up with something new and original to develop and sell. Maybe some of them will remain without any actual purpose, just to be left lying around, but maybe many others will have a good purpose. Personally, I think that the eco-friendly gadgets and the health gadgets will make always a good investment and we should focus on them because we will always be dependent of phones and other pieces of technology with lesser importance.
