Princeton University researchers discovered a method to steal encrypted information stored on computer hard disks. And is not that complicated ccording to them but certainly can be for us.
The secret is in freezing of DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) chip. This is done to exploit the little-known vulnerability of the DRAM chip.
The innovation is that these chips hold data and when the computer’s electrical power is turn off, the data must or should disappear. Interesting is that the chips actually retain their data for seconds or even minutes after power is cut off. So, if the chips are frozen then the data gets frozen, too and that reveals the key with long string of vulnerable binary data. Great news, don’t you think?

The Hello Kitty laptop from Epson costs $1,640.

What do you feel about the new MacBook Air keyboard?
Well, it seems to be just fine, but take a closer look. You will find an interesting button at the top right corner. Yes, you’ve got it! Is the eject button.
I wonder if there is no CD/DVD inside, the eject button will still be in function? What is it real function, maybe just MacBook knows.
Anyway, it seems to be an interesting gadget.
