Belt-Buckle Spy Cam

I have a surprise for all you James Bond fans out there. The fact that it’s a small camera might not startle you at all, but check out where it is hidden. This cool gadget comes from a company called Ajoka. The guys from Ajoka managed to integrate a tiny camera into your everyday belt buckle. The camera sports a somewhat sub-par 176×144 pixel resolution and records clips in 3GP format. Taking into account the fact that, with these specs, one minute occupies about 500 KB, when you record to a 2GB MicroSD card there should be enough space for no less than 65 hours of footage. With this small form factor also comes a down-side, as the only battery that fits the buckle limits the actual recording time to about 3 hours on a single charge.

On the bottom edge of the buckle one could find the MicroSD card slot, a record button, a power switch that allows for battery life saving and a USB port for quick transfers to your PC. The camera is self-contained and you don’t have to worry about any wireless interceptors. Presumably, the tiny camera comes equipped with a wide angle lens, otherwise it would be pointless to capture footage of other people’s crotches when walking around.
