You are the proud owner of a Renault Laguna 3, but you don’t dig the onboard computer performance. You’d really love to bring that dual quad-core system inside your new car, but you already know it’s not going to fit, whatever you do. Take a look at what Aeon has to offer.

Aaeon has recently introduced a fanless computer using Intel Celeron CPUs and running Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE or even Linux. Dubbed Boxer AEC-6905, this small-factor computer is designed for vehicle mounting.

The robust device has an aluminum chassis, with mounting holes that allow it to be fixed securely to a wall or floor. So you could mount it inside your car or you could install it somewhere in the kitchen. Its specially designed case acts as a heat sink, allowing the AEC-6905 to operate without noisy fans and other cooling devices that would add to its total weight.

Features and specifications listed by Aaeon for the AEC-6095 include:

•Processor -- Intel Celeron M from 600MHz to 1.5GHz
•Memory -- up to 1GB of DDR RAM in single SODIMM slot
