Being a teenager is a challenge now, as you are surrounded by all this technology and all the gadgets are evolving from one day to the other, yet you have to keep up with everything and “be cool” because kids can be cruel and they can marginalize somebody just because they are not cool enough. That is why they all want the <strong>coolest iPod</strong> and the coolest iphone and whatever is released on the market. But who can be the judge to say which one is the coolest iPod for example.

I think all iPods are cool, that they were designed with this concept in mind and having one of these gadgets is a big deal because this makes you somehow special. Normally the latest model is always considered the coolest in every field, no matter what device we are talking about. The first one is experimental, the second improves the general features a bit, but the latest one always brings the best features so far and has the best design and the best everything. SO take a look on Apple web site and see which iPod is the latest one (if there is any need for you to do that or you already know everything there is to know about iPods?) and choose your model.

World’s coolest place for an adventure quest

Children just love playing outdoors and I think we should encourage them as much as we can because nowadays there are so many temptations that keep them indoors in front of computers and TV sets, that a lots of them are overweight and that affects their health.

We can justify the lack of preoccupation for the children physical exercise by saying we are too busy making money so that we could afford to give them everything they need. But I know it and you know it that this is a lame excuse. There are so many ways to get them involved in physical activities and allow them to spend some quality time in nature. You just have to want to look for them.

If you can’t go with them for a family trip out in the mountains or in other perfect places for fun, you can choose one of the adventure camps your kids will simply love. And since they have all played Adventure Quest computer game at home, why don’t you try to combine these two things and organize a wonderful adventure quest live, on real ground?

First you need to find the world’s coolest place for an adventure quest. I mean you have to find a place that fits perfectly your objectives, what you have in mind. I think a location in the mountains is perfect, but try to find an adventure camp or something similar, some space where everything is carefully organized.

The wild forest is a cool place, but not when you have to keep an eye on kids, so safety comes first. If you choose to have your own adventure quest in the family NEVER leave a child unsupervised because they can easily get hurt or lost. Be prepared with all kinds of maps and directions , so it’s obvious that you have to come at least once before this trip to organize things and view the surroundings. Download some ideas for the quests from different web sites or even quests from the RPG game and use them in your adventure. Then try to also bring costumes because it all looks more real and fun with the appropriate costumes and hats. You can be pirates or musketeers or medieval knights fighting with foam swords. Be prepared for everything, even for small accidents and always carry a first aid kit.

The world’s coolest place for an adventure quest is the one that is closest to you because children do not take very well long trips, especially by car and when they grow up they do not enjoy such activities any more. Of course the ideal location is in the mountains, but the clearing of a forest will do just fine as long as there are enough members for the teams and the organization is impecable. If I were to choose such a place for myself now I would say the jungle or The Everest or Grand Canyon. But, like I said, safety comes first and the fun part of the quest is important, too. If your children are good swimmers you could choose the banks of a river or even a water park.

Wyoming’s cool climate

Wyoming is the second state as altitude in USA. It is situated in the North Western part of the country ranging from the rocky mountains in the west to the High Plains in the East. Its geographic location on the map and also the closeness to the mountains are the main factors that influence <strong>Wyoming’s cool climate</strong>.

Even if temperatures range here rather to extremes with high temperature levels in the east and low temperatures in the mountain area, the average is pretty low when compared to the other states because the most part of Wyoming is covered by mountain relief. It is common knowledge that temperature drops as you raise in altitude, so as you go south towards the mountains the air is cooler and even summers are warm, not really hot like in other parts. Even the plains have a pretty high elevation with the lowest point still over 3100 feet and they have a most arid climate because the mountains represent a very effective natural barrier that stands in the way of the ocean winds that bring heavy rains.

The mountains can reach an altitude of 6700 feet and they cover a good part of Wyoming, so the average altitude is pretty high, influencing temperature, too. The mountains range from north to south and block the moisture there, on the western coast of the mountains, while the rest of Wyoming is more or less arid. So this state is covered with various types of relief and has different types of climate from mountain to plains, from wet to arid that you can’t find a homogenous area to choose as representative for this state.

But that’s exactly <strong>Wyoming’s cool climate</strong> that makes it so desirable especially in summer because it’s a pleasure to go there, in the cooleness of the mountains and valleys, running away from the hot sun that melts the cities. However, nights are a bit cooler than you might be prepared for ,and that is caused by the arid climate that is also specific to the desert, so you can expect extreme temperatures. For most of the State, mean maximum temperatures in July range between 85 and  95° F, so ideal for tourism. Besides, there are also lots of touristic attractions in this state that invite you to spend beautiful holidays here. But these extremes can lead to spectacular colours on the sky and unexpected changes in the weather that are the charm of this Cowboy State.

People living here always wear a jacket with them, even if it’s sunny because you never know when the weather changes and a storm begins out of nowhere. Actually storms are pretty common around here, especially in winter, when temperatures vary a lot, with waves of heat and cold, with the snow melting and freezing again in turns. Actually the period of time between September , when you can see the first snowflakes in the mountains and late November, when winter settles for good, is called the Indian Summer because the days are warm and the nights are cold and the sky is beautifully coloured, makring the transition between the two seasons.

So do not hesitate to come here and admire the well-known Yellowstone Park which is the biggest natural reserve in the country, Devil’s Tower, Bighorn Mountains and whatever you might find interesting to visit here.

Coolest Birthday

We all love celebrations, especially when we celebrate the most important and the happiest events in our lives. With every birthday we celebrate the joy of living, the passing of just another year and what better way of spending this special day every year than together with family and friends?

Sometimes the birthday parties are more quiet and some other times they are really fun, depending on the circumstances and also on the person throwing the party. We all want our birthday parties to be the best but organizing the coolest birthday is not as easy as it may seem. If you do not have all the ingredients, the party will not start itself and if there’s nobody to cover all basis things can get out of control and turn messy.

First of all you must take one thing in consideration when organizing a cool birthday party: the age of the one being celebrated: a child will enjoy totally different things from an adult and also a boy from a girl, so I guess gender is important , too. If the party is for children, they would appreciate a lot of space , so make sure the party is in a garden or in a special playground for children and also make sure there are adults to help you with children supervision, as they tend to get creative when together and things can get ugly.

It would be a good idea to bring a clown or a character from the favorite story of the party girl or boy. Make a list with some funny games for them and take initiative if things get boring. Bring lots of toys and also fresh food because you don’t want to risk food poisoning. When the kids are tired, end the party gracefully because it would be useless to keep some bored and sleepy guests. Thank everyone and give them a little something sweet for home.

Well, things change dramatically if you want to throw the coolest birthday party for teenagers and young people.

Invite the closest friends and not people you barely know because they will feel uncomfortable and would not feel fine. The best thing is to throw a surprise party with friends and lots of loud music. A theme party could be a good idea, too, for example tell the guests to come dressed for a Disco party or a pirate party or dressed in a certain color. Funny and amusing gifts are very much tasted rather than practical things.

Buy a funny cake shaped like a guitar or a race car, depending on the likes of the one being celebrated. Even if you trust your teenage sun or daughter do not leave the party unsupervised because things can take unexpected turns when young people drink and gather, but do it in a discrete manner.

Things are less complicated for older people because they will always be happy to have all the family members around and will have fun playing with the children and telling jokes.But you already know there is no special recipe for the perfect birthday, you just have to make an effort to try to do your best for organizing a party, smaller or bigger, and leave the rest to the guests and luck.
