Spike the Ultra Dinosaur is one of the coolest Fisher Price toys of alltime. In fact, it is so cool that it is actually an award winning toy. This remote control dino buddy seems to come to life with the press of a button. Not only can he stand on his own 2 legs, but he can also walk, he can blink, his mouth can open and close and you can make him do all that with the help of the included remote control. He is 27 inches tall so your kid isn’t actually in danger if swallowing Spike. The toy needs 3 x AA alkaline batteries to run and the toy is priced at $140.
Another award winning Fisher Price toy it the cheaper Geo Trax – the toy airplane. It only costs $45 but when you have a son that loves to play with airplanes, then you have just found your ideal gift. The Jumbo plane can be clipped to the tower and it will fly off into the deep blue sky. Below the tower you will see an airport with lots of cool features like a kid-activated elevator, 3 bays for your son to fix the plane, fuel it up and even board the pilot. The airport comes with a main tower that has a working elevator, an RC toy airplane, one pilot figure, a security gate, a drop off platform and 3 landing bays for your kids’ plane. I know that most of you are not anxious for your kid to grow up and take his first steps into adolescence because that is when troubles starts showing up.
Friends are an important part of our lives and the best way to keep your friends is to communicate with them because you can’t say a person is your friend if you only talk to them twice in a year. Any way, since our whole world revolves around the computer and the internet or any combination of the two – like a mobile phone with internet connectivity – most of my friends now communicate via the internet. And what cheapest and funniest way to talk to them and even see them in real time than the instant messeging services.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
There are more possibilities and one of them is Pidgin. Pidgin is actually a multi-protocol instant messaging client. It is compatible at the same time with the other IM services like Yahoo, Zephyr, SILC, MySpace IM and a lot more that you will find in the picture below. What really cool about this Pidgin is the fact that it allows you to be connected to all the above mentioned IM services simultaneously. You do not have to sign in and out of one of these every time you want to communicate with your friends or other IM users. You can talk to a friend using Yahoo messenger and with another one from MSN at the same time, with multiple windows opened. It’s absolutely wonderful to be able to do this.
Now you have the possibility to add your Pidgin list to your sidebar thanks to a new gadget that can be installed on any computer that has Windows Vista or Windows 7 installed – Pidgin gadget. This gadget is called Pidglet and can be easily downloaded and installed on your computer or any other device with internet access. The first thing you have to do is download the Pidgin gadget from Google or from here and you will get a package containing the plugin (a dll file) and a sidebar gadget installer (a .Gadget file).
If you want to install it on your computer and have it work immediately all you have to do is extract the contents of the package on your C: partition in Program files. There you will be able to find a directory called Pidgin plug-ins or Pidget gadget . Install it by simply performing the double click operation and then your sidebar gadget will be installed. But you still have to import all contacts from all the accounts of instant messeging you have if you want this to work. You will need the Pidgin plugins for this and you can access them from Tools , after restarting Pidgin.
When you go there and choose the plug-ins you will see a window with the available plug-ins. Just select the Pidget plug-in. This way you will see all your contacts from the accounts you sign in to on the windows sidebar. But if you have a long list of friends this can be a bit tiring and it will certainly get a lot of space, so you’d better limit the number of contacts to be displayed.

The Super Solvers, Gizmos and gadgets is an old computer game that used to be very popular in the late 1990a and was discontinued in 1998. It was compatible with Windows 95 and 98 and they appeared on the market os CDs with the game on. The main purpose of the game was to teach children of age between 7 and 12 the different tools , machines, electronic devices and magnets that represented the basic technological knowledge for them.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
It was an educational game that was both fun and also brought basic information and skills for the children.It was a kind of a puzzle game , as you had to win 15 races by solving puzzles. you could do that if you changes 15 vehicles that you had to build of pieces. The component pieces could be found in different warehouses. The vehicle parts were kept in this warehouse that looked like a maize and the player had to navigate inside it and choose the part they needed.

Since the game was quite a hit in its time, some people still remember it and there are a few who still want to play it. As CDs with the game are very unlikely to have been kept for such a long time and if you found one you certainly could not use them for playing the game, as they deteriorate in time, the best thing to do is to try to find the Gizmos and gadget download version.
I found more web sites offering this for free, so feel free to visit these links and you might also find some new things about this game which, by the way, appears on Wikipedia, too: www.oldgames.nu, www.thepiratebay.org (via torrent), www.dosgamesonline.com, www.goldfiles.com . After you finish the Gizmos and gadgets download you can try playing it and you will have the pleasant surprise of discovering or rediscovering a very nice game that is totally different from the computer games you know.

Actually you will feel a kid again and it bring back memories from childhood. In this game your character is part of the Super Solvers team and , of course, you have to fight against an enemy – in this case Morty. You have to compete in all kinds of races in order to find out which one is the best. The best player has to prove he is a better scientist than the other and in order to do that they will have to solve puzzles and also build better and faster racing cars.
The game is actually pleasant and surprisingly well designed. It starts with the easier levels and increases in difficulty as you advance through the game, bringing more and challenging tasks. Because this is an educational game, there are a lot of explanations about the devices you have to use and you also learn how they work it practically as you can see what they do. The player the game addresses to is just a child and these children under 12 are fascinated by machines and also very thrilled by the sound effects, so this game is perfect for them with all those realistic buzzes and noises of the machines and also of the car races.The bottom-line is that, even though old, this is a nice and pleasant game to play.

Have you been ever asked about your opinion on which is the coolest phone ever made? Well, if you don’t know which it is, we present you the newest concept made by Nokia, the Nokia Aeon. Expected to be launched in this year, the Nokia Aeon promises to be the most powerful and attractive cell phone on the market. Seeing many photos, this phone has made quite an impression on us. Being a handset which comes with two touch screen displays, the Nokia Aeon will be also very practical.
<-300×250 Medium Rectangle – center->
To be the coolest phone ever, the Nokia Aeon needs to have a brilliant design. Well, coming with a case made of plastic, with rounded edges and a “curved” design, it certainly looks beautiful. The dimensions of the phone have not been revealed, but we think that it will measure almost 115 mm in length and only 11 mm in depth. With these values, it certainly feels very practical and thanks to the beautiful silver finish, very comfortable. On the sides, the Aeon doesn’t have any multimedia buttons, as they have a curved and soft design. The front side of the phone is the most beautiful one ever seen.
The Nokia Aeon is equipped with two TFT touch screens. Why two touch screens? Because there isn’t any numerical pad. When you want to type messages or other texts, on the lower touch part screen a virtual numerical pad will appear. Those two displays are separated by a plastic stripe decorated with the Nokia’s Company Logo. On the top part of the phone you will find a Power On / off button while on the bottom part a Fast-port is placed which allows you to charge the phone, attach headphones or connect it to a PC via USB. On the back side of the phone you will find a camera and an external speaker.
When it comes to technology we can surely say that the Nokia Aeon is one of the greatest technology-equipped mobile phones in the world. As we said, it comes with two TFT resistive touch screens. These displays have 3.0 inches in dimensions and a native resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. There is also support for up to 16 million colors, so the images quality will be irreproachable. Because one of these displays will act like a numerical pad, you will see that it is very responsive and pleasant to touch. Like on all top-rated mobile phones, here you will find an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, a proximity sensor for auto turn-off and an ambient light sensor. For taking photos, the Nokia Aeon has a 5 Megapixel camera capable of taking photos at a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. Being a powerful camera equipped with LED flash, autofocus, touch focus, face and smile detection and geo-tagging, it will offer you excellent quality photos every time. The internal memory of the phone is another aspect which Nokia did not reveal, but we think that there will be at least 2 GB of free space.
For connectivity, the Aeon was announced to be a Quad-Band phone with support for GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G and HSDPA. For other kind of connectivity options you will have USB, Bluetooth and Infrared. The battery life o the phone is assured by a Li-Ion 1120 mAh battery and it is rated to keep the mobile on for at least 5 hours of conversations and 350 hours in standby mode.

Not only is the 64 GB Apple iPod Touch the coolest mp3 player, but it is also the most expensive one, since it is priced at around $400. In terms of design, we could say that this mp3 player is strikingly similar to the iPhone. The Touch comes with a super 3.5 inch display that has a 480 x 320 pixel resolution. Even if the display is touch sensitive, the mp3 player is still host to a couple of physical buttons. On the left side you may spot the volume control, on the top there is a hold switch and there is an universal docking port plus a 3.5 mm headphones jack on the bottom. On the front side you will find the home button. The dimensions of this player are 4.3 x 2.4 x 0.33 inches, similar to those of the 2nd generation iPod Touch. Inside the package of this mp3 player you will find a USB cable together with a pair of earbuds which have an included microphone and remote control. There is also a universal dock which you can use with any charging.
When it comes to features, nothing can beat the power of the 3rd generation Apple iPod Touch. Not only does this gadget provide us with an amazing mp3 player, but it also has a Safari web browser, a photo viewer, a video player, an e-mail reader and lots of other utilities such as calendar, weather, stocks, maps, voice memos, contacts, clock and calculator. When it comes to the performance of the touch screen, there are few devices that can beat the performance offered by the iPod Touch. Most of the reviews have shown displays that don’t even come close. Another amazing feature which is uncommon for an mp3 player, but present on this device is the gaming feature.
It only took 14 second to load a game of Spore thank to the new Open GL graphics system which gives a boots of video energy to this small audio playback device. Even with all these amazing features, battery life is the most important aspect. After lab tests, we have discovered that this iPod Touch can support 34 continuous hours of music playback. As for those of you who want to watch video, you can expect about 8 hours of battery performance with this amazing little gadget.
