For some of the people I know learning a foreign language is the most difficult tasks of them all. I once heard my brother say he would rather spend a whole week doing math exercises than reading a page of an English or French book. He finds these languages (or maybe learning them) very difficult and boring, even if he’s aware of the fact that he will always need them, no matter what he does.
As far as I’m concerned, it’s kind of frustrating when I need to go to a different country where I just cannot express myself that way I would like to. On the other hand, learning Czech just because you’ll spend a week or so in Prague, is useless.

I understand that technology has reached a level that is very difficult to be assimilated by most of us, because there are many areas where development is way beyond the normal capacity of people’s comprehension.
But from what I’m able to understand to the presence of all sorts of devices in places that you wouldn’t have dared to think about, it is a long way off. Have you ever seen, for example, portable DVD players inside mini vans and any other vehicle that has appeared in the last couple of years? I’m sure you did, because such vehicles are almost everywhere.

Those which aren’t equipped with the players are old-fashioned and their owners are trying their best in order to somehow bring them to date. Don’t panic, would you please? It doesn’t count down the time you have left before, well… leaving this world, but before leaving your house, to work, to your doctor’s appointment or to any other place you might have things to do.
It’s kind of unusual, but this Morning Countdown Clock was designed to double the drama of each and every morning of your life, because it doesn’t only wake you up, but it also lets you know how much time you have left before heading out the door.

So, the clock gives you the chance to set two different alarms: one is for the wake up time, while the second is for the departure time. It might be a good idea, especially for those who waste time as much as they try not to, but, as far as I’m concerned, it’s a torture. And do you know why? Because the Morning Countdown Clock really counts down, as it lets you know when there’s an hour before you go, when you have 45 minutes before you go, then 30, 20, 15, 10, 5, 3, 2, and, of course, when there’s only one minute left.
And if you think that’s about everything, then you are wrong, because this is where the nightmare begins. It tells you when you have 30 seconds, 20 seconds and here we go… “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!â€. And you’re ready to go. Or at least you should be.
Annoying, if you ask me, especially if you think that there’s a special greeting that the device plays and it will be in Japanese. Yeah right!
Anyway, if it didn’t scare you already, then go to Japan Trend Shop and buy one. You’ll be able to choose between white and blue, but it will cost you $33, irrespective of the model.

For those who are accustomed to the classic games such Mario (the popular fictional character which became the mascot of the video game series) and the Nintendo Entertainment System (also known as NES), it is probably very difficult to let go and move on.
The great thing is that Nintendo has never forgotten those titles that were able to make history and is still keen on giving them to the public, as long as the public shows interest and excitement.
