LED video light from Brando

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

One thing that I’ve seen to be very popular among people these days is the creation from scratch of all sorts of videos that are meant to be posted on Internet on all sorts of social networking websites. People seem to be very amused by those situations when they catch their friends and family in embarrassing or funny states and they have what it takes in order to capture those states that they will further share with the whole world.

But what these videos usually lack is, of course, a very good technique and a very good quality, due to the light conditions, most of the times. And if need to improve this issue, you should know that there’s something to help you do this: the Rechargeable Cordless 70-LED for DC & Video Light, offered by Brando.

The features of this video light include: adjustable light reflecting cover (first of all, the angle of light source can be adjusted, and second of all, if the covers are closed, the LED light is being protected as well), an LED indicator that shows the battery level status (when 5-LEDs are on, the battery is full, and when the 1-LED is on, the battery is low).

The LED video light can be recharged in two different ways: either using a universal AC adaptor or using the PC or the notebook you own, via the USB cable. It measures 12 x 13.5 x 5 centimeters and can be bought from Brando for $59.

New video eyewear from Q-London

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Of one thing I’m sure, if not even positive: Q-London is not the first company to create the video glasses, and you probably don’t have any reason to disagree. However, the same manufacturer pretends another first. They say they came up with a new video eyewear that is able to make the viewer feel like he’s watching an 80 inches TV from a distance of no more than 2 meters.

The so-called 3D QL Xperience Video Eyewear is compatible with a wide variety of devices, as long as they come with support for AV output. The technical specifications of the eyewear refer to the video input formats that include NTSC / PAL / SECAM Auto selection, a VGA resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 24bt color, a viewing angle of 35 degrees in diagonal, a power consumption which is less than 1.1 W and a 1000 mAh Lithium-Ion battery.

The package includes the following components: the view eyewear, a line controller which is practically the connection with the battery, eyepatch, which is perfect when it comes to blocking out the light from the exterior, earphones, a remote control to help the user adjust the brightness or the contrast, an AV cable x3, the USB charger and a nose pad.

If you’re interested in it, you can go grab this new video eyewear from Q-London for $310.

Wii Bowling Ball

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

I have never had the chance to enjoy the Wii iixperience, because for people in my country Wii is quite expensive and with a regular salary you cannot afford buying one. I have never had the chance, but I’m so damn curious, because I’ve heard many things about it and I’ve read even many more.

Tennis would be first on my list, there’s no doubt about it, maybe because I love the this game so very much. But I think I’d try everything, even if I know that curiosity killed the cat. It’s true, but it won’t kill me.

Especially if we’re talking about bowling, because the first time I played I certainly had the drunkard’s luck, as I literally kicked ass. And I suppose it’s the same with the Wii, right?

This Wii Bowling Ball is a very special accessory that was designed by CTA Digital and was presented at the 2009 edition of E3. The source of inspiration is, of course, an authentic bowling ball, just like you’re able to see in the image above, and all you have to do is to open this “treasure” up and then hide the Wii remote inside. After whispering some magic incantations, close the ball and go meet the wildest success ever!

What remains a mystery is how much the ball weighs, as well as the information about the pricing and availability.

Sing, birdie, sing to me!

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

A couple of years ago I enjoyed waking up in the mornings, because there was nothing I loved most than the fresh air and the silence that you could never find in any other moment of the day. I used to name those “my mornings of the carnival”, when nothing in particular happened, but still… lots of things seemed to come into being, out of nowhere.

I loved waking up in the mornings because there were lots of things for me to do and I was highly waiting for the day to show me as many challenges as possible. But now… well now… things are a little bit different. It’s maybe due to the age, or due to the fact that I got tired in the meanwhile, but I hate waking up, especially when I know it would be very good to me to sleep a little bit more.

And the Okko alarm clock wouldn’t do any good to a person like me. And do you know why? Because I’m sure I’ll find a way to just get rid of the little birdie and just make it disappear. But if you don’t mind having a the birdie trying to wake you up each and every morning of your life, from now on, then the bird song that it sings won’t be bothering you, right?

It’s a LED alarm called Okko that measures 14.5 x 15.5 x 11 centimeters.

Portable photo studio

Monday, June 15th, 2009

Maybe you’ve seen a portable photo studio on previous occasions, I don’t know, but there are never enough in the market, so why not giving you the chance to see one more? You should be grateful for such an opportunity because this way you’ll have much more options to choose from when you make up your mind and go for the portable photo studio that you’ve dreamed about.

Compared to others, this one has the advantage to be a whole lot cheaper. Because, as you all know, the price is a very important criteria when you decide or not to buy a product. And this one is cheap. Not to mention the fact it is possible for you to collapse it, so that you won’t have to stumble over it when trying to find your way to the other room of your apartment.

<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->

The package consists of the following items: a photo lightbox which is collapsible, just like I said, and has 16 inches cubed, two high-output table-top 35 watt photo lights and a nylon carrier with zipper that measures 9 x 4 x 8 inches. Of course, this miniature studio doesn’t include a camera and can be yours for only $49.99 from Think Geek.
