I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m losing my power of concentration as the years pass by. More than that, I cannot say I’m very excited when it comes to dedicating a significant amount of my time to the study, because I lack patience. I am very much into the achieving more and more knowledge thing, but I’d be the happiest girl on earth if the process was more natural.

I think it’s important for people to turn the study time into a fun activity, but I don’t see how we can do this. Maybe the first step is to just start studying and work a little bit on our iron will, which isn’t quite made of iron, after all.
And what better way to keep us in front of that enormous bundle of books that you must read in less than a week for the next exam than the Study Ball? This device is designed to turn you into a more dedicated student, so that you can achieve your studying goals.

“The Study Ball gadget is a prison-style ball and chain that you can program to keep track of how much time you spend studying. Once you’ve selected the desired duration, you chain the ball to your ankle and the manacle won’t come off until the schedule study time is upâ€.
Especially designed by Emilio Alarcón, for Curiosite, the Study Ball is provided with a red LED indicator that is meant to keep you informed on how much study time there is left. Being made of durable steel, both the ball and chain weigh no more than 9.5 kilograms, meaning 20.95 pounds. You can set it for over 4 hours of fun study time, but as long as you’re not a minor. If you are, it is better for you to be supervised by an adult.

According to its designer, “studying can be fun and enriching if you do it once in a while, but no one likes to study for days on end, especially not with an exam date looming overhead. The project was born of a conversation I had with a friend who was studying for a civil service exam… he said: I haven’t left the house in a week, this is like being in jailâ€.
The Study Ball is available right now for approximately $115.36.

People are afraid of getting married, maybe because it’s too much responsibility involved in such a huge step. On the other hand, life is about freedom, and marriage is often perceived like an institution that fences people in. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I strongly believe that humans are made for a free life, and they are tempted to reject every little thing that is meant to make them prisoners.

But we shouldn’t consider marriage to be such an obstacle, even if recent statistics are quite alarming, as we’re told that approximately 47 percent of men and no more than 32 percent of women decide not to get married before their early 30s. And one of the main reasons for such thing to happen is that people are more and more focused on career, rather than on the family aspect.

The Marriage-Hunting Bra (also known as Konkatsu Bra) is a concept lingerie designed by the famous company Triumph International that is meant to help the women who are very skeptic about marriage to surpass their fears. The bra shows the time a woman has left until the day she thinks she’ll tie the knot on a very easy-to-read LED display.

There are a ring holder and pockets that can be used for a pen, for example, and official stamp seal. These will be very useful when the bride will have to fill out the marriage license application. Triumph puts its hopes very up when it comes to the results of the release of this new concept.

To be more precise, the creators of the Marriage-Concept Bra is aimed at encouraging people to get married, as it was inspired by a best-seller that creates sensation these days in Japan called Konkatsu-Jidai (translated as “The Times of Marriage-Huntingâ€), written by Toko Shirakawa. The book talks about a continuously diminished marriage rate in Japan and the obstacles people run into when they’re trying to find a partner for a lifetime.

I don’t know about you, guys, but as far as I am concerned the shape of things surrounding us is very important. It is almost as important as the “thing†itself, if I’m allowed to say so. And this is because we all look for uniformity, for harmony and comfort, and some shapes inspire us more than others.

I’ve heard about many people having a weird (some would call it this way, but I’m not sure it’s justified) fascination for the pyramids, maybe due to the history that is related to them. They are considered to be invigorating and so does Scimitar Computers. These guys think that pyramids are not only fashionable, but also very elegant, so they decided to create unique computer cases.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
Being handmade, the cases are shaped as pyramids. Known under the name of Vertex, they are made of laser-cut aluminum and measure approximately 10.24 x 16 x 16 inches. The cases are equipped with a LED-lit power button, with a hard drive suspension and Scythe Kama-Flex sleeved fans. In addition, each case comes with a package consisting of a micro-ATX motherboard, then a power supply (which is Flex ATX), a USB which is mounted on the side, a DVD bay, audio in/out ports, and a “cross-flow cooling systemâ€.

If they managed to catch your eye, you should know that these unique computer cases are available in three color versions, black, blue and red. Anyway, it can be purchased for $400 (the shipping costs approximately $20 and it is not included) from Scimitar Computers.

Maybe we are accustomed to see the LEGO bricks in an entirely different context, where children are trying to express their imagination in the best way possible, but it’s not unusual to see more and more gadgets made of the famous LEGO basic bricks. Gadgets that are all aimed at grown-ups, of course, because otherwise it wouldn’t be a surprise for anyone and the issue wouldn’t raise so many discussions.

It’s not the first time to see such gadgets, because we’ve witnessed before the apparition of an Alcatel phone made of LEGO bricks or of digital cameras, video camera, MP3 players and walkie talkies, all made of the famous bricks.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
This is why an accessory for the desktop is more than welcome as long as it looks like… guess what? A LEGO brick. These USB hubs are designed by Systown and they are perfect for the gadgets I’ve mentioned earlier, adding three more ports to the ones you already have. The main disadvantage is the fact that they are kind of difficult to get, because they are available only in Korea. Therefore, if you don’t happen to live there or to have a vacation planned in this country, the chances for you to have a LEGO USB hub are actually zero.

If, on the other hand, purchasing one isn’t a mission impossible for you, then you should know that DCX is selling these hubs for 15,290 KRW (meaning no more than $12).

The issue of consciously underfed people, girls most of the times, is very important these days, in this world that promotes a spider’s waist that is usually associated with beauty. We all look for appreciation and it seems that the way we look is sometimes treated with exaggeration. Starvation isn’t a solution to any problem that we might have, so I can’t understand why human beings take the wrong decision when it comes to this eating problem.

Therefore, I don’t know how many of us would enjoy the benefits of a brand new lunch box that gives us the chance to eat a more elaborate meal than we usually do. But if the only impediment when it comes to eat more healthily when we’re away from home is that it’s difficult for us to carry the meal, then the Sunch Lunch Box Tray is precisely what we need. And do you know why? Because the lunch box turns into a tray with all sorts of dishes that help you have the greatest feast ever.
<-300x250 Medium Rectangle - center->
Designed by Soo Kang Lee, the Sunch completes makes the list of lunch box ideas complete. Not to mention it is a very innovative one, as each side of the box opens up, flatten out and then become the table that you’ve always dreamed about.
