How proud I feel when an Indian comes out with some new discovery. The more if it is a girl(sincere apologies but I am a bit biased for the fairer sex).18 year old Eesha Khare an Indian settled in California, Lynbrook High School student, has created a small device that can charge you phone in less than 30 seconds.

We are always worried about the battery going down in between of something important we are doing and that is a big problem today. Also if the battery is down we need to search for an electrical port to charge it. The third drawback is we cannot get it charged within few minutes it requires atleast an hour or more to completely charge up. Well Eesha has come up with a solution to this problem.

A passionate nanochemistry high school student she has not only designed but also created a small black rectangular supercapacitor that could charge an LED surface. She beams proudly that this small device can store a large volume of energy and will be flexible enough and charge mobile phones within seconds. Being portable and small it could easily fit inside the cell phone and also it is very speedy. It is also stated that this invention will be very useful in car batteries in future.

She has received a prize in the 2013 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, with a cash prize of $50,000 among 1,600 shortlisted from more than 70 countries, held at Phoenix, Arz. Kudos to her for the thinking process at such a higher level compared to her age. Indeed she made all proud.
